Happy Easter! This is my favorite picture from Easter and totally captures Meredith and Jack's personalities! We've had some really fun things going on over the last few weeks, so here are some pictures so you can see what we've been up to.
Meredith was a pro at coloring Easter eggs with Daddy. She learned that she likes to color eggs almost as much as she likes to eat egg salad. We had to make sure she didn't connect the dots on that one though! She would've been crushed to know that all of her hard work didn't last forever. Jack had a cold on Easter weekend and wasn't up for coloring eggs. I'm pretty thankful for that one, since Jack + dye would've equalled one big mess!
This was Jack's favorite item from his Easter basket. He liked the fire truck that the Easter bunny brought him, but his "Papa Fireman" was a huge hit. He's been sleeping with this guy and carrying him everywhere.
The Easter bunny was also very good to Meredith. He brought her two new Hello Kitty dolls to add to her collection. She's obsessed with everything Hello Kitty.
My dad's last day at work before retirement was last week. We surprised him with a trip to the fire station. Meredith and Jack loved the trucks and ambulances but especially liked this CPR dummy. They kept trying to wake him up by honking his nose and tickling his belly.
Jack LOVED the trucks, but wasn't a big fan of the sirens!

Claire's delivery is scheduled for a mere 16 days from today! I feel as big as a house and definitely tired, but those are pretty normal for this point, right? I'm just so excited to see her little face and to see what Meredith and Jack think of their new little sister. They talk about her all the time and have both gotten to feel her have the hiccups.
